The internship program

We deeply believe that knowledge is only valuable when it is applied to solve societal problems. However, the process of applying knowledge must be practiced earlier, intensively and continuously. As a result, we give students the opportunity to complete a two (academic) to six (professional) months internship. As an intern, you will work on a project. You will leave the center with more than just a new certificate with your name on it.

Who are we recruting?

We are recruiting internship students with interest in various fields such as accounting, logistics, human resources, management, scientific surveys, market research, sales, e-commerce, traditional & digital marketing, social media & content marketing, communication, creation of visual animations, online journalism & storytelling, business analysis, web analytics, video editing, processing & compression of images & videos, web development, web security, SEO optimization, social sciences, psychology, and others.

Requirements

You must have a laptop on which you can work.

You must take part to all activities organized by the RDCT.

You must be willing to work eight hours a day.

You must be willing to work from monday to saturday.

You must be willing to document your work.

You must be willing to make an end of internship presentation and write an internship report.

Former academic intern in web development department and student at Institut Universitaire de la Côte (Douala).

From June 28 to August 28 of the year 2021, I did a 2-month academic internship at the RDCT in the Marketing department where it was a question for me of designing SMS and e-mail marketing, studying the needs of consumers and to carry out marketing campaigns. It was a great experience for me to work in this professional environment where the start-up staff made everything available to the trainees to ensure their comfort and the implementation of tasks. During this internship, I learned a lot both socially and professionally. Socially, I was touched to see that the RDCT staff are respectful and welcoming. On a professional level, they have a very remarkable team spirit, are dedicated to the work and to the satisfaction of their clients. They taught me to work with this in mind and I thank them very much. The knowledge and techniques acquired during this internship at the RDCT will be beneficial to me for my field which is marketing and I feel able to work and meet the needs of different companies.
